The best thing about Android is we can customise our devices as much as we want. In the following guide we’ll tell you how to set a video as boot animation on your Android devices. When ever we reboot our devices all we see is stock company logo animation its kinda boring, since we can add other animation and videos.
Before Proceeding you need the following:
# 1: Boot animation executable files. Download Link | Mirror
# 2: A Rooted Android device.
# 3: Root Explorer App.
Step 1: Download the Boot animation executable files. Download Link | Mirror.
Step 2: Download the Root Browser.
Step 3: Now open the Root browser and go to /system/bin directory.
Step 4: Now in /system/bin directory replace the Boot animation executable files with one you downloaded in step 1.
Step 5: Now you have to change the permission of Boot animation executable files to rwx-rx-rx. [ Long Press on the files to change the replace files permissions. ]
Step 6: Download the same boot animation zip from here.
Step 7: Now open the boot animation zip file using any archive manager.
Step 8: You’ll find to MP4 files instead of .Png files.
Step 9: Now change the Video file with your video files.
Step 10: Open the root browser navigate to /system/media and replace the original boot animation zip file with your modded zip file.
Step 11: Change the permission to modified boot animation file to rw-r-r.
Step 12: Reboot your device to apply the changes.
