Samsung officially announces Galaxy Tab S3

Samsung has officially announced their new high end flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S3 at the MWC today. Usually Samsung uses the MWC platform to unveil the S-series flagship, but this time around they decided to shake things up and present a new high-end tablet which was much needed by Samsung as its predecessor came out in 2015.

Galaxy Tab S3 is all about form and function. To appeal to a larger consumers base and differentiate from other basic tablets out there, Samsung decided to spiffy things up by adding in an S-Pen and a magnetic keyboard. The tablet runs Android 7.0 Nougat has both Wi-FI and LTE support variants. Let’s have a look at the rest of the specs.

The tablet has a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, The tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, paired with a 4GB RAM. In terms of design the new tablet has a quad speaker setup which are tuned by AGK and are bound to give an immersive audio experience. The tablet features a 13MP main and an 8MP selfie shooter. The device runs Android Nougat and is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery. The solid metal glass construction is set to impress as the tablet is sleek and beautiful. The S-Pen looks great with a 0.7mm tip.

Galaxy Tab S3 is a powerhouse and Samsung has done a good job in bringing in a new tablet. With a slump in sales in the tablet market, working on something that has added functions and support can definitely appeal to the consumers.
