Verify it’s not just a freezing issue:

Sometimes because of hardware and software glitches, our device start getting lagging and freezing problems. So before doing anything make sure your device is not in Freeze state. Back in the time to fix the freezing issue. All you have to do is to take out the battery and after few minutes put it back.

Since you can not remove Samsung Galaxy Plus S8 battery. You need to forcefully restart your device. Press and hold volume down + Power key for 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat the process more than one time or until you see the life signs on your device.

Allow your phone to charge:

Most of the times we forget to put our device on charging. The result is that our battery is completely drained out. This may the reason your Galaxy S8 Plus won’t turn on. You have to charge your device using the original charger or you can charge it using your PC.

Whatever you do, but allow your phone to charge for 20 minutes. After that, you can try the first method and hope so it will work this time.

Boot the phone in safe mode:

  • First, turn off your Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.
  • Now press and hold the power key.
  • When you see Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus logo, release the button and then press+hold the volume down button.
  • Don’t let go until your phone finishes the rebooting process.

Try booting it in recovery mode:

  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted for next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.
