Samsung Galaxy S8:

The Galaxy S8 was released in March 2017. The phone came out with a screen of 5.8 inches having 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. Galaxy S8 was powered by Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. It had internal storage of 64 GB  and a RAM of 4GB only. The camera at the back of this phone was of 12 MP and on the front, it was of the only 8MP. Inside this phone, there was a 3000 mAh battery. The phone originally ran on Android 7.0 (Nougat), upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo).

We’ve seen a number of devices behaving abnormally after getting updated. The same issue is going on with Samsung Galaxy S8, we have seen numbers of user reported different sort of issues once they have updated their device.

Today we not only discussing Galaxy S8 No Signal From Network After Software Update. Moreover, we have added a number of issues which are related to the network problem.

S8 No Signal From Network After Software Update:

The most effective solution for this problem is to Factory reset your device. Most of the time when we update our device to latest OS. Our old software data still sits back there and because of that, we ran into different sorts of problems.

Moreover, you can try to use different SIM in order to determine the nature of the problem. If the issue persists, you must go to the Samsung service center.

Heed the instructions below to perform a factory reset.

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold home+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see the logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted for the next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.

Galaxy S8 No Cellular Data Network Available When Making Calls:

The first thing, you should do is try a different SIM and see if the issue still persists. If yes, then proceed with the following.

  • Turn Off WiFi calling on your device. Head over to the Settings -> Connections -> Turn off WiFi Callings.
  • Boot your device into the Safe Mode and check if the issue occurs. If it doesn’t then a third-party app was behind all this. Delete the latest apps you have installed.
  • Perform a Factory Reset.
  • Try Cleaning the Cache Partition using recovery.

Clear System Cache:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold home+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see a logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe cache partition.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted to the next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.

Galaxy S8 Cannot Make Outgoing Calls:

  • Before you do anything make sure you have enough balance to make calls.
  • Check your signal reception, make sure you are at an open place.
  • Use a different SIM.
  • Head over to the service center.

Galaxy S8 Can’t Answer Phone Calls:

  • Manually update your device again.
  • Clear your system cache and perform a factory reset.
