Samsung‘s upcoming flagship Galaxy S8, is the talk of tech town. Analysts, competitors and consumers alike are looking at how the tech giant will appease itself after the Galaxy Note 7 disaster. Last week the company held a press conference discussing in detail the issues that brought about the end of Note 7 and claimed that they have introduced stronger measures for Galaxy S8. According to rumors, Samsung is working on introducing a 6GB RAM variant for Galaxy S8.
According to earlier information, Galaxy S8 was equipped with a 4GB RAM with 64GB/128GB internal memory options which would be extendable via the microSD card. A rumor circulating last week hinted that the company is working on bringing Galaxy S8 with an 8GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. But the tipster @mmddj_china claims that there is no such device under development. But a 6GB variant is definitely in works.
The bad news is that the 6GB variant will not be available in the American and European markets. Samsung will be releasing the 6GB version for the Asian markets, specifically for China. As different Chinese brands have introduced smartphones with a 6GB RAM, Samsung also wants to add to the competition and do the same. In addition, South Korea, Samsung’s home market will also get be getting this smartphone.
As different rumors are flying around in the air at the moment, we cannot confirm the credibility of this report. More about Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will become clear in the coming days. The devices will be unveiled on 29th March, let’s see whether or not we will see a 6GB RAM or an 8GB RAM variant will be confirmed by then.
