You need to Wipe your cache partition. Sometimes there is corrupt temporary data in your device cache. It can cause such issues. Try the following Instructions.
Connect your device to PC. Open Kies and make sure your device is connected to Kies. Once your device is detected by Kies, it will prompt the software update. Follow the screen instructions to update your device.
If you want to update your device through OTA. You need to factory reset your device. Once your device is fresh and clean. Head over to the settings and update through OTA. Heed the instructions below to Factory reset your Galaxy S5.
