The Galaxy Note 8 is released in August 2017. The phone came out with a screen of 6.3 inches having 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. Xperia XZ3 is powered by Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. It had internal storage of 64/128/256 GB and 6 GB RAM. The camera at the back of this phone is 12 MP, f/1.7 / 12 MP, f/2.4  and on the front, it is 8 MP. Inside this phone, there is a 3300 mAh battery. The phone originally ran on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo).

Most probably it is caused by a software glitch. Boot your Galaxy Note 8 is Safe Mode and check if this issue still occurs or not, if not then it is one of your third-party apps. You need to find that app and uninstall it. However, if the issue still persists in the Safe Mode, then you need to back up your device and perform a Factory Reset.

If after trying everything, the issue still persists, then it means you have a hardware failure.  The best solution for you is to head over to the nearest Samsung Service Center.

Galaxy Note 8 Does Not Charge Using Wall Charger:

You should always use the original charger that came with the box. Now you’ll be wondering why? because not all other chargers have the same voltage ratings required to charge the Galaxy Note 8.

If you don’t have the original charger, then you should buy a new certified charger from the Samsung outlets.

Galaxy Note 8 Charger Gets Hot When Charging Phone:

You have only two options to go with. One is to start charging your device using a Wireless Charger or you can take your device to Samsung Service Center nearby.

Galaxy Note 8 Not Charging After Software Update:

The best solution is to perform a factory Reset and then charge your device. If it is working fine now, that means you had a software glitch and if not then take your device to Samsung Service Center nearby.

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold home+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see the logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted for the next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.
