Samsung is not only working on their upcoming Galaxy S-flagship for the year, but there are other smartphones from both the entry level and mid-range category that are under work at the moment. They have launched a few smartphones from the C Pro lineup in China and India. Now it looks as if a new smartphone by the company is landing in the USA. Samsung has recently filed a trademark for Galaxy J7 Sky Pro with United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Looking at the name, this would be the US variant for the elusive Galaxy J7 (2017). At times companies do tweak sames for different markets. The ‘Sky Pro‘ moniker either hints to some new features or one of the colors exclusive to this lineup. Galaxy J7 Sky Pro (well the name is a mouthful) will be released with different cellular carriers there. If the device which has been trademarked the same that we heard about a few weeks back, then some of its features are known courtesy of the FCC filing.
Based on earlier reports, Galaxy J7 Sky Pro will be a mid-range smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch display. Speculations are that it may either be a full HD display with 1080 p or an HD display with 720p resolution. Under the hood it will either be powered by Exynos 7870 or Snapdragon 625 processor with a 2GB or 3GB RAM. A 13-megapixel main camera will adorn the device with a 5MP front facing camera. The smartphone will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.
