Galaxy S6 Edge was updated to Android Nougat very recently. This device is now enjoying all the new goodies that Google introduced in Android Nougat. Galaxy S6 Edge started its journey while running on Android Lollipop. In the good old days of Android Lollipop, it was easily possible to root this phone using CF Auto Root. With the arrival of Android Marshmallow, things got slightly difficult. It became nearly impossible to root the phone. The methods involved a lot of complications. With the release of Nougat for the S6 Edge, things got tougher. It is still possible to root S6 Edge on Nougat, but the method may not seem easy to an average Android user.
A very good news landed in from the camp of XDA developers just today. Chainfire, the Root-God has updated his famous CF Auto Root utility to work with Android Nougat devices. It took a lot of time for this development to happen, but the wait is totally worth it. CF Auto Root can now easily root any Samsung Galaxy smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat. If you haven’t rooted your S6 Edge yet just because you were afraid of following those lengthy methods, it is the perfect time for you to do it now.
CF Auto Root can be flashed/installed on almost all the Exynos variants of the Galaxy S6 Edge. A guide with some easy-to-follow steps is given below which illustrates how to root Galaxy S6 Edge Android Nougat using CF Auto Root.
Read Carefully: Rooting your Galaxy S6 Edge via CF Auto Root will void its warranty and also trip the Knox counter. After you root your phone, you will trigger the dm-verity verification. To bypass this, you must factory reset your phone and it will wipe your phone’s internal storage. It is very important to backup all your data before you root your phone. In the case of any kind of mishap, TechBeasts and the Root developer may not be held responsible. Make sure that you understand the risks involved in the rooting process. You are going to do it at your own risk.

What about T-Mobile S6 Edge
@sholsten:disqus I think that has a Snapdragon CPU? If that's so, then root isn't available for that phone yet.
