If you are not a fan of Samsung Bixby, follow the instructions below to Remap Bixby Button On Galaxy Note 9. Samsung Bixby was introduced last year as a rival of Siri and the Google Assistant. Bixby has a lot of new features as compared to other voice assistance but somehow it didn’t get the attention as Samsung was thinking. We’ve made a tutorial and explain everything step by step. All you have to do is follow the instructions provided below and you can easily remap Bixby Button on Galaxy Note 9.

1: Remap Bixby Button with bxActions:

Download the bxActions from the Google Play.
Install and Setup ADB drivers on your PC.
Enable USB Debugging: Settings > About Phone > Software Information and tap on the build number 7 times.
Open bxActions and grant all the permissions asked.
Select Bixby Button and Tap on “please unlock permissions using a PC”.
Run the following commands.

adb shell pm grant com.jamworks.bxactions android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS adb shell pm grant com.jamworks.bxactions android.permission.READ_LOGS

Once the commands are executed, close the bxActions.
Re-launch the app and now select the option you want to assign to Bixby button.

2: Remap Bixby with Button Mapper:

Download the Button Mapper from the Google Play.
Install and Setup ADB drivers on your PC.
Enable USB Debugging: Settings > About Phone > Software Information and tap on the build number 7 times.
Launch the Button Mapper form the app drawer.
Now select the Bixby button from the top and tap on customize icon.
Run the following commands as stated below. First, run the first command and Reboot your device. After your device Boots up run the second command and reboot.

adb shell sh /data/data/flar2.homebutton/keyevent.sh

adb shell sh /data/data/flar2.homebutton/keyevent.sh -d

Now you have to select the option for Bixby button.
That’s all.

Disable Bixby On Samsung Galaxy Note 9:

Press the Bixby Button to launch Bixby on your phone.
In the Bixby Home, you will find a radio button next to the Bixby key option.
Turn the Radio Button Off to bring the button options.
You can now choose to not to open anything or open Bixby upon pressing the Bixby button.
