Official Press Render for LG G6 leaks

With Mobile World Congress just around the corner, the rumor mills around tech town are heating up. LG G6 is one of the devices that will be unveiled on 26th February. Not only fans but LG itself has been throwing in teasers for us all and keep the debate ongoing. With LG G6, we have seen renders, prototype and even live alleged images of the device. A few hours ago, we got to see a live image of LG G6 in which it is placed side by side with LG G5 for comparisons. Now Evan Blass, a renowned tipster has tweeted an official render of LG G6 and it has an uncanny resemblance to the live image of the device seen earlier.

LG G6 will have very slim bezels which increases the screen to body ratio. As the render is in black and a few weeks back we got to see a glossy back panel of LG G6, which means that there is a black color variant in works. Looking at the frame of the device, expect a slim device which is not modular as LG’s experiment with LG G5 was not successful. At the rear of the device, the dual camera setup can be seen along with the fingerprint scanner below it. The LG G6 logo can be seen at the bottom.

LG G6 will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, paired with a 4GB or a 6GB RAM. A 12-megapixel dual camera setup will be at the back of the device with software optimizations providing features like LG square, which allows you to split your camera screen in tw parts one for framing and the other for reviewing. The smartphone will run Android 7.0 Nougat and will be powered by a 3200mAh battery. Google Assistant will be the voice based assistant that will be a part of LG G6, making it the first smartphone apart from Pixel devices to have that assistant on board.
