Nico and Veronica

Nico – Right | Veronica – Left

Nico and Veronica are more like your everyday glasses. The all-black design of these glasses hides the camera system. The camera is merely visible when seen from a particular distance. Unlike the previous Snapchat spectacles, these glasses are less likely to grab the attention of your surroundings.

The new Nico and Veronica spectacles come with a classic leather carry case. This case does not charge the spectacles anymore. To charge the spectacles, users will have to use the OEM cable. Previous spectacles came with a case that also charged the glasses. As far as the case is concerned, this is a downgrade over the previous model. However, the glasses are supposed to replace your everyday glasses with the help of their classic design.

The Nico and Veronica lenses are polarized by default. If you wish to get the prescription lenses, you can do so through Lensabl. The new glasses are available starting today at $199.

Snapchat Spectacles Flashback

If you don’t already know about Snapchat Spectacles, these were first introduced on September 23, 2016. The Snap Spectacles are supposed to record a video for your Snapchat account. These glasses feature a camera lens that can record short video clips. The spectacle are synced with your phone. Through your phone, the clips are uploaded straight away to your Snapchat account. On April 26, 2018, the 2nd generation Spectacles were introduced. The 2nd-gen spectacles carried both the hardware and software improvements. The new Nico and Veronica further improve the 2nd-gen spectacles.
