Live image of Samsung Galaxy S8 in Black surface

Samsung Galaxy S8 is no doubt one of the most anticipated devices of the year. With the flagship scheduled to be announced on March 29th in New York the news and rumors are intensifying. To date we have seen some stunning renders, alleged live images and even videos showing the device from different angles. The rates at which images of Galaxy S8 are leaking there wouldn’t be much tounveil‘ on the day of the official announcement. A new set of images of Galaxy S8 have emerged, showing a black colored variant of Galaxy S8 in action. One of the best thing about this leak is the image quality which gives you a pretty good idea as to what you can expect from the device.

Samsung will be launching two variants of their S-series flagship, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. There is no Edge moniker this time around as both the devices have a dual curved display which can be seen in the above image. Both Galaxy S8 and S8+ will feature the dual curved display as the company has made that a trademark for their flagship devices. The new leaks confirm what we have seen earlier that there will be no home button. Moreover, the device will have very slim bezels giving way to an increased screen-to-body ratio which Sammy will dub as the ‘Infinity Display’.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895, both of which have been produced using the 10nm process. As the yields for the 10nm chipset are low, this is cited as one of the reasons Samsung has delayed the global launch of Galaxy S8 and S8+ to April 28. In addition, Samsung’s own virtual assistant, Bixby will also make its debut and it will have its own dedicated button. As there is no home button, you will find the fingerprint scanner at the rear of the device alongside the camera setup, this detail can also be confirmed from the leaked images.

With just a few weeks to go, we are looking forward to what updates and features are yet to be leaked. So, stay tuned and see how the story develops.
