Google launched Android Wear 2.0 today along side two smartwatches by LG, LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport. These are the first smartwatches to have the Android Wear 2.0 on board. The upgraded OS offers many new and nifty features which were required to develop a smartwatches functionality beyond a smart time piece.
Android Wear 2.0 offers Google Assistant and Android Pay, which will allow users to make payments through their watches if they are NFC enabled. User will now be able to download apps directly on their watch from the Play Store. In addition, the redesigned user interface is stunning. Google will be rolling out the update to other smartwatches in the coming days. These are the smartwatches that will get the Android Wear 2.0 update:
Almost all of the smartwatches will be getting the Android Wear 2.0 update. If you have any of these watches you will be able to explore the new features that this OS offers in the next few weeks.
