Leaked renders hint at Samsung Galaxy J7 design

Every year Samsung brings out a slew of smartphones which cater to variety of tastes and price points. This year is no different, the company is not only hard at work at their upcoming flagship, but is releasing other smartphones as well. Recently the Galaxy C7 Pro and Galaxy C9 Pro were launched in China and India respectively. The new leaks today show that we will be looking at Galaxy J7 in the near future.

Samsung’s J-series will have entry level smartphones and it will be targeting the Asian markets like China, India and Malaysia to name a few. Galaxy J7 will sport a 5.5 inch 1080 display. Under the hood it will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor and a 2GB of RAM. The camera specs are quite adequate with a 13MP main and 5 MP front facing ones. The smartphone is expected to be have other nifty features like fast charging. Galaxy J7 will be shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. It will also have removable batteries, a feature that a lot of people love.

Samsung definitely has upped the game for its entry-level smartphones giving them some of the features of their high-end devices. This is a positive indication that the company is working towards targeting consumers through device that have good specs and an affordable price point. One of the reasons for this change in strategy is the increasing competition due to which Samsung is losing market shares. So, now they are not only working on their flagships but are geared towards producing great mid-range and entry level smartphones and Galaxy J7 is one of that.
