iPhone battery issues are going to be finished thanks to latest YouTube app update

If you were several iPhone or iPad users that were complaining about bad battery life while using YouTube to satisfy your daily requirements, well you are not going crazy. YouTube was indeed making the life of iPhone and iPad users miserable by plummeting battery life severely but all of that is going to change thanks to the latest update.

Earlier this month, YouTube was heavily criticized by several smartphone and tablet owners that the app was draining their devices’ battery tremendously. There is good news looming for you here because according to the app developers, there is an update of the YouTube app that will improve battery life for iPhone and iPad users.

So what was causing it in the first place? It appears that a battery-draining bug was the sole cause of this issue, leaving YouTube and its app developers to roll out a fix in the coming weeks and now it is here. The latest version is called 12.45 and was released this morning to users with a very crucial update that details the following:

So far there have not been any tests and results published to prove that the latest app update has indeed rid of the battery plague that was afflicting lots of iPad and iPhone owners. However, some initial tests being run on some iPhone X units with the software update iOS 11.1.1 appears to have done the trick for them.

Though the app update might have solved the issue for millions of iPhone X users, what about the ones that currently own Apple’s previous-generation mobile devices?
