Samsung Galaxy Note 8’s ROM has been ported for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. The ROM comes in the form of famous Renovate Ice ROM. Along with the features of the Galaxy Note 8’s ROM, Renovate Ice is a heavily modified ROM loaded with tons of useful features that you will not find on any other custom ROM.
Renovate Ice Note 8 Port ROM for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus is based on the N950FXXU1AQl1 firmware of the Galaxy Note 8. The ROM is running on Android 7.1 Nougat. When booted for the first time, it won’t trip the Knox counter. By default, the Knox counter in this ROM is set to 0x0. You will also find private mode working perfectly fine in this ROM. The ROM comes with AROMA installer. It means you can select the features you want to see on the phone during the ROM’s installation process. Renovate Ice ROM also supports a few tweak applications which can help you to further modify your Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. Another awesome feature in this ROM is, it will not set your device’s status to custom in the bootloader. You will find the device status: official whenever you boot into the download mode. Features like screen recorder and application are also packed in this ROM. SystemUI Tuner is enabled by default as well. Renovate Ice also bypasses limits like camera flash not working on a lower percentage of battery and other such limits. You can also select the default storage for an application to be installed on your phone. You can also select your desired CSC while installing this ROM. Renovate Ice ROM’s UI colors are highly customizable as well. This ROM is a combination of a perfect battery life with amazing performance. Although it’s a custom ROM, it’s supposed to run as your daily driver and keep your device close to the official/stock look.
