Earlier this week Huawei confirmed that they will be holding their press event at the Mobile World Congress on 26th February. The company is expected to unveil their flagship devices P10 and P10 Plus , along with Honor 8 Pro that day. Apart from the smartphones, Huawei will also announce a new smartwatch Huawei Watch 2, code named Leo, which will be available in three stunning colors of Blcak, Orange and Speckled Gray.
Huawei Watch 2 will come with Android Wear 2.0 on board. At the moment only LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport run the Android Wear out of the box. Watch 2 will have the nano-sim slot, which means that you will be able to use your smartwatch independent of the Android or iOS device it is paired with.
A few days back Huawei on Weibo posted a promo for Watch 2 indicating that it is ‘Made for the Free Spirits’. Huawei this time around will focus on making their smartwatch edgier and focused on physical activity. The smartwatch will have a 42-millimeter along with a 1.4 inch display. The rest of the specs of the smartwatch are a bit sketch at the moment. We will get to know more about its functionality and specs on 26th February.
