Huawei P11 to arrive at MWC 2018

Huawei made quite a splash at the Mobile World Congress by announcing their flagship smartphones Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus. The color options for the flagship showed how creative the company went in a bid to be different from their competitors. Even though people haven’t gotten their hands on P10, the company has started talking about its next flagship. According to Bruce Lee, Huawei’s Vice President of Handsets Line, said that Huawei P11 will be announced at MWC 2018.

Huawei pushed their schedule a bit and announced their P-series flagship earlier than usual as they are announced in Q2. Both Huawei P8 and Huawei P9 were announced in dedicated events in Q2. The shift makes sense as the company is able to showcase their flagship at a bigger platform where the device is accessible to a broader audience. Apart from that it also adds to the competition of the flagships announced at the MWC. People have more choices and the brand gets more visibility.

Well the sale numbers for Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will reflect how successful the company was in their bid to stand out. As far as its successor goes, we are hoping the device to have some solid specs and a creative color lineup going by what they did this year.
