Huawei Mate 20 Pro Flyer Indicates A Massive Battery

Huawei is working on its Mate 20 lineup these days. The company is expected to unveil the Mate 20 Lite, Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro in the upcoming month. Information about the Mate 20 lineup has been making it to the internet in bits and pieces. The Mate 20 Pro is supposed to be the premium most smartphone in the Huawei Mate 20 lineup. It looks like this phone is going to be a powerhouse as per a flyer from the company suggests. Huawei’s flyer indicates that the Mate 20 Pro will have the highest battery juice among all of its smartphones released so far.

Huawei has shown the P10 Plus with a 3,750 mAh battery in the picture. Next to the Huawei P10 Plus is the Mate 10 Pro with a battery capacity of 4,000 mAh and then there is the P20 Pro with the battery of 4,000 mAh as well. On the right side, Huawei has shown the battery capacity with the help of bars.

The bars show that Huawei Mate 10 has lesser battery than the P20 Pro even when they both have a similar battery capacity. However, below the P20 Pro is a placeholder with a question mark and this placeholder is slightly bigger than the battery bar of the P20 Pro.

This clearly means that there is a smartphone coming with a more powerful battery. We hope that this battery is actually bigger than the P20 Pro as the P10 Plus and P20 Pro have the same battery but their bars are not the same in size.

We are not sure about the battery capacity of the Mate 20 Pro. If Huawei means a battery of 4,100 mAh or 4,200 mAh, it would be really disappoint. Let’s hope that Huawei upgrades the battery capacity for good as the company is emphasizing on the battery juice for the Mate 20’s marketing.

Huawei will likely power up the Mate 20 Pro by the Kirin 980 SoC. The new SoC will be unveiled at IFA 2018 which is set to take place at the end of this month. Since this is going to be another flagship by the Chinese manufacturer, expect a triple camera system at the back. Rumor has it that the Mate 20 Pro will use a curved OLED screen.

That’s all we know for now. While we bring you more stuff about the Mate 20 Pro, don’t forget to share your thoughts about this device with us.
