Huawei expected to release 7 smartphones, and that’s just for the first half of 2018

Huawei is the third-biggest smartphone manufacturer on the planet right now, and this means that the company is a direct threat to the operations of both Samsung and Apple. To improve its position in the market and to potentially become the second-biggest smartphone company in the world, Huawei has a plan to release a lot of devices for 2018.

We will definitely be seeing them during the MWC 2018 trade show, but more than that, the company plans to release a total of four ‘Honor’ brand smartphones next year. From what we have seen from Huawei, these phones are made with premium materials, feature a small price tag and get powerful internals for a very affordable price tag, which will obviously appear as a ‘no-compromise’ purchase for the buyer.

If you look at the leaked image given at the top, Huawei also plans to release a wearable, but looking at the state of Android Wear, it might not do as well as compared to the smartphone lineup. The company’s P-series of flagships are most likely going to be shown during the month of February and if we’re truly lucky, then we will be seeing them during the CES 2018 trade show.

There has been a rumor saying that the P11 series will feature something is very similar to Apple’s TrueDepth camera, thus allowing these devices to obtain something that is darn near similar to Face ID. Of course, the validity of this image falls into question, because Huawei’s plan can easily change during the course of time.

Releasing 7 smartphones not counting the Mate series is going to be a very difficult task but if one company can pull this off, it will definitely be Huawei.
