Huawei announces Huawei P10 and P10 Plus

The Mobile World Congress is getting better and better with every announcement. Huawei just pulled the covers off their new fabulous flagship, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. Huawei no doubt produces some stunning smartphones and the new flagship in terms of looks and specs is no different. The latest effort shows how the company is working on becoming one of the top global brands in the smartphone industry. The colors, design and the specs are stunning.

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus feature a 5.1-inch Full HD and 5.5-inch Quad HD display respectively which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There was a rumor that The Huawei P10 Plus will come with a dual curved display but that does not seem to be the case. Under the hood, the devices are powered by Huawei’s own powerful Kirin 960 chipset that has four Cortex A57 processor cores that are used for heavy processing and apps while four A53 cores are for simple tasks. Both the smartphones come with a 4GB RAM but P10 Plus will have a 6GB variant too, putting to rest the speculations that there will be an 8GB RAM variant. In terms of internal memory, the devices will have 64 GB base storage and just like the RAM, the P10 Plus will have a 128GB RAM variant. The memory is expandable via the microSD card.

With Huawei camera seems to be at the heart of the developing technology, as they understand that this is one of the major features that people look at when they make the decision to get a camera. In collaboration with Lecia Optics the company has developed a the new Lecia Dual Camera 2.0. The dual camera setup features a 12MP color camera and a 20MP monochrome camera. These can be used individually as well.  It is basically the software tweaks made that will make the images taken from the camera stand out. A Portrait Mode has been introduced that produces stunning images with different effects.

Well Huawei has also outdone itself in terms of the battery. The Huawei P10 will be powered by a 3,200 mAh battery while the P10 Plus will be powered by a whooping 3,750mAh battery. This makes it one of the largest battery configurations in a flagship device. Apart from that with one full charge, the battery will last to 1.8 days with regular usage and with heavy usage the battery will work up to 1.3 days.

The color choice offered is amazing. The smartphone will come in 7 different colors and for that Huawei collaborated with Pantome to achieve these colors. Well the color line up is quite vast and appeals to different audiences. The colors offered are Ceramic White, Dazzling Blue, Graphite Black, Greenery, Dazzling Gold, Mystic Silver and Rose Gold. The ‘hyper diamond cut’ which will give the smartphone a textured surface will be available for Dazzling Blue and Dazzling Gold colors.

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will start arriving in global markets next month. In terms of price Huawei P10 will be priced at €650 , Huawei P10 Plus  with 4GB RAM and  64GB base storage will retail at €700 and the 4GB RAM with 128 GB base storage will be priced at €800.
