HTC teases with an ‘Unexpected Surprise’, is a new product announcement scheduled for March 20th

HTC Taiwan on their Facebook page recently posted a teaser that an ‘unexpected surprise‘ is coming on March 20th. Nothing is clear as to what the company is up to with their ‘Spring in Coming’ update. This sure has the tech town is a tizzy right now as we hate not knowing if a mainstream band was working on a product and we didn’t get to hear anything about it.

HTC recently launched two new handsets HTC U Play and HTC U Ultra, so it seems quite improbable that the company will announce another device. Along with that the company has also claimed that they are withdrawing from the mid-range and entry level market, so that leaves us with very few options as to what HTC has up their sleeve.

There are two possibilities, HTC will either be announcing a wearable with Android 2.0 on board or they will be bringing and adding new color variants to their flagship devices like HTC U Ultra or HTC U Play. Maybe a VR related product announcement is  scheduled, we don’t know yet what the company is up to. If it is a new smartphone we will indeed be surprised as to how the company kept all that under the wraps.
