The screen to body aspect ratio is 18:9, which helps the HTC U11+ to stand in line with the competitor flagship smartphones. HTC has managed to slim down the bezels of this phone. The top and bottom bezels have been reduced as well. HTC said goodbye to the front facing boom sound speakers with the HTC 10, but it didn’t reduce the bezels so far. The HTC U11+ has it all that you’ve been waiting for.
The dimensions of this phone are 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5 mm and it weighs at 188g. Both the front and back of the U11+ are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. HTC U11+ is IP68 certified making itself water and dust resistant.

At its back, the HTC U11+ has a single shooter which is a 12 MP UltraPixel 3 sensor. HTC hasn’t opted for the dual-shooters yet. Almost all the competitor smartphones except the Google Pixel 2 come with a dual-shooter. We are not yet sure about the picture quality of the HTC U11+, but a dual-shooter with upgraded sensors would have looked more good. The front-facing camera has an 8MP shooter to entertain the selfie freaks.
HTC U11+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Android Oreo is the latest Android version available till date. Although Google is already brewing the Android 8.1.1 Oreo, it’s still good to see the U11+ running on Android Oreo while most of the flagship phones are not even near getting an Oreo update.
HTC U11+ will make its way in 3 colors. These colors include Amazing Silver, Ceramic Black, and Translucent Black. HTC U11+’s 6GB RAM variant will cost around €799 in Europe. The phone is slated for release on November 20, 2017.
