Google is already working on the next iteration of Android, the Android P. The developer preview builds of Android P have already rolled out. A number users have had a chance to get a glimpse of what Android P is going to look like. Whenever a new version of Android is about to come out, its goodies start pouring in giving the Android enthusiasts a chance to taste its features before the official release.
So far, a number of features which were primarily a part of the Android P developer preview, have been ported to other Android phones. This also includes the latest Pixel Launcher from the Android P. Google has revamped the dock once again. The dock at the bottom of the home screen is nontransparent now. There are some other minor touchups in the UI department of the Pixel Launcher.
The Pixel Launcher from Android P is now available for download. If you are using any Android phone running Android 8.0 Oreo, you can grab the Android P Pixel Launcher and install it on your phone. The launcher will give your phone’s home screen and the application drawer a signature Google look and feel. The Android P Pixel Launcher is smooth and fast. I personally do not like the stock launcher of my Galaxy Note 8, so I opted for the Pixel Launcher instead.
Here is how you can install Android P Pixel Launcher on any Android handset. This procedure doesn’t require your phone to be rooted. The process is extremely easy and simple. All you need is to have your phone running on Android Oreo.
