Today I will tell you how to fix The User Profile Service failed the logon on Windows, I am damn sure that everyone once faced this issue. This issue can be because of your user profile getting corrupt after a windows update or a malware. Well, whatever the reason is let’s fix it.  Follow all these steps carefully as stated below and in the same order so that you can fix The User Profile Service failed the logon issue.

How To Fix The User Profile Service failed the logon:

Step#1: First restart your computer, when you see main logo start pressing F8 until you see Advanced Boot Menu.

Step#2: Now in Advanced Boot Menu select Safe Mode with Networking and press enter.

Step#3: Once you are logged in advance boot menu, click on Start->system restore. OR in start menu open run and type rstrui.exe and press enter.

I am using System restore option.

Step#4: Click on system restore from search, on to the next screen select Show More Restore Points and click on next.

Step#5: Now choose system restore point, and make sure select the date on which your system was working perfectly.

Step#6: System restore will start the restoring process on your PC, once the restore process is completed your system will reboot.

Step#7: Now when your computer boots up, don’t go into any mode. Login with your credentials you used before you started seeing this error.

Step#8: I would suggest you that try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on your PC, because the famous antivirus like AVG and McAfee will not save you from malware attacks.

Step#9: After downloading Malwarebytes install it on your PC and run it. Now from the Scan tab select custom scan. Check all the box on the main screen once you start the scan, now wait for at least 4-6 hours.

Step#10: Once scan is completed, select “Quarantine All” and restart your computer.

Step#11: After you system boots-up, open CMD and type sfc /scannow and hit enter. Now you have to wait for 30 to 50 minutes to scan the files.
