Before proceeding further just tell you that Apple update is out to fix this bug, the method is for those who are still waiting for update to come or facing the same issue after updating the to the latest iOS.

Step #1: First turn off the notification for messages by going in to settings. Notifications -> Messages -> Show on Lock Screen -> Off.

Step #2: Ask the person who texted you, tell him to send another text message.

Step #3: Try sending your self a message using any third party app for e.g ” Notes “.

Step #4: You can also use Siri to send you a text message.

Step #5: Send yourself a clean message from Mac.

Step #6: Try sending yourself a photo using share sheet, in order to do this you have to open photos app and select a photo then tap on share, select your number and tap on send.

Step #7: Open iMessage on Mac and delete the message in question.

Step #8: Block the person who is sending you the same text again and again.

Step #9: If you device is jailbroken then  download this .deb file and install it using iFile.
