Here is when the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are going to be announced

A new report has detailed the announcement date of both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. According to the image given at the bottom, it shows that the unveiling of both the flagships is going to be taking place on February 27.

If you’re unaware, February is the period where the MWC 2018 or Mobile World Congress trade show is going to be held, where lots of other manufacturers will be arriving to show what they have been working on and what they plan on releasing later in the year.

Samsung has always had a history of announcing its products during MWC so this will not come as a surprise to readers. With the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ announcement, the event took place at a later time because the company would have wanted the unveiling to go as smoothly as possible.

The Galaxy S9 has been rumored to come with 4GB of RAM, while its bigger brother, the Galaxy S9+ will have 6GB of RAM. Though the position of the fingerprint reader will be changed, the Galaxy S9 will disappointingly just feature a single camera lens at the back. Earlier leaked renders provided a hint at the design of the Galaxy S9 and it left us heartbroken that we will not be able to see thinner bezels when compared to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

As for the chipset, the Exynos 9810 powering the two phones will be made on the 10nm LPP process, while for American customers, you will get the Snapdragon 845 version instead.
