Android is all about ‘customization‘. You can customize different elements of your device like the launcher, wall papers or even the icon. Set it according to your mood, or the new movie character that you so like or a theme you fell in love with while reading the new book, there is something for everyone and this is one of Android’s strength. In a bid to take things one step ahead, the company introduced the ‘digital taste test‘. Now you can find the ‘home screen of your dreams’ as claimed by the company.
The test is based on images and asks you a series of questions ranging from what type of colors do you like monochrome or vibrant? Light or Dark, Geometric or Organic textures real images or illustrations are a few aspects asked about. Once you are done with the questions you will get recommendations based on your ‘taste‘ and the elements that you have selected. You will get recommendations for Android launchers, icon packs, wallpapers etc. which can be downloaded from Google Play.
Well the test is fun and interesting and you get different recommendations at the end. With this initiative, Google is bringing to spotlight different developers like Backdrop Wallpaper, Muzei Wallpaper, Cornie Oldie Icon Pack, Delta Icon Pack, Nova Launcher and Smart Launcher 3 to name a few. You can re-take the test and get even more recommendations.
