Google fixes Bluetooth connectivity issues in Pixel and Pixel XL devices

A lot of Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL owners have been complaining about the Bluetooth connectivity issue plaguing their device. This resulted in the Bluetooth turning off causing the connected devices to disconnect. Now Google is fixing the issue and now users will get the update patching up their Bluetooth via Google Play services.

Pixel users noticed this issue when they received the February security patch and this issue continued on till March. Today the company confirmed that that they fixed the bug.

I just got word that Google has just finished putting a fix in place for this issue on our end — no downloads or updates to your devices or apps are needed. We’d love to hear feedback from this group. If you have a chance to test your Bluetooth connection, please let us know how it goes.

According to the message users will not have to go through the inconvenience of downloading something or following a guide to fix the issue. The update will be rolled out to them as Google has made the required changes on the server.
