Google a few weeks back announced that the Pixel smartphone exclusive AI assistant ‘Google Assistant’ will be rolling out to other Android powered devices. There was a catch though that the flagships will get the feature. OnePlus started to roll this update to its OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T flagship three weeks back and now it seems that a lot of the users globally have received the Google Assistant.
Along with that the company also confirmed that the Google Assistant is now available on its high-end flagship smartphone OnePlus 3 and 3T.
A lot of users have received the nifty Google Assistant on their OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T handsets but there are still some users who haven’t gotten it yet. Given how OnePlus sends out quick updates, they will get this feature in the coming weeks.
Google Assistant will be available to ‘selected’ smartphones running the Android Nougat and Android Marshmallow. At the moment, the tablets will not be getting the update but this would be something that may get included later on. So, is the Google Assistant now available on your handset?
