Galaxy S9 might get a dual-camera position like the iPhone X according to latest leak

Both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ could take features from the Galaxy Note 8, or more accurately a dual camera upgrade. With the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ without a dual camera, it would present a tremendous opportunity for Samsung to capitalize on these features and market them to the buyer.

According to a case render leak from BGR, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ would feature a fingerprint sensor that is not going to be placed next to the camera but below the lens. This will honestly make it much easier to reach and unlock the phone. Unfortunately, the dual camera might increase the price of the Galaxy S9 but if you’re willing to pay more to get access to exclusive features, that is what truly matters.

Coming to the hardware, what we know about the upcoming flagship so far is that it will come with an Exynos 9810 chipset that is made on the 10nm FinFET technology, plus upgraded custom-made Samsung processing cores for better performance.

If a fingerprint reader has gone out of your comfort zone, then you’re more than willing to try out new security features. This will include an improved facial recognition although it is yet to be confirmed if the phone is going to be featuring 3D sensing technologies to rival the iPhone X.

Aside from this, the Galaxy S9 could also feature an improved iris scanner that will not take ages to unlock the device, hence you will have a snappier flagship in your fingertips when 2018 starts. These improvements are expected to take place because there is a rumor going around that the chipset inside the smartphone will feature its own AI engine.
