How To Reset Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge:

Hard reset Galaxy S6:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold home+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see the logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted to next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.

Hard reset Galaxy S6 Edge:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold home+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see the logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe data/factory reset.

Open Settings on your device->Scroll down and Select ->Backup and Reset->Factory Data Reset.

Soft reset Galaxy S6/ S6 Edge:

Soft reset is simply restarting your device by holding down the power button for 10 seconds and when you pop-up icons tap on power off. Soft Reset will help you fix small issues like the device is running slow, laggy, freeze up, apps are not working etc.
