Galaxy A5 (2018) to get the same display treatment as Galaxy S8

How could Samsung leave out its non-flagship smartphone lineup without the premium treatment? After all, given that the Galaxy A series of devices come with superb build quality, water-resistance, and terrific cameras, it is time to give it the Infinity Display that is fitted onto the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8.

According to a new HTML5 test, the Galaxy A5 2018 was revealed to feature a resolution of 846 x 412 and if you use your math skills correctly, this lines up to an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, which is the same as aspect ratio on the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8.

Needless to say, the Galaxy A5 2018 is going to be getting the ‘Infinity Display’ treatment, making it even more premium than its previous generation counterparts. Unfortunately, a dual-camera does not look to be on the specifications sheet of the smartphone but this different resolution means that the phone is going to be more expensive for the end user thanks to a design change.

The Galaxy A5 is also going to be a decent performing phone as it will feature Samsung’s own Exynos 7885 chipset. The processor configuration is yet to be known, but during the official announcement of the phone, you guys will get to know everything there is about the device.

The operating system running on it is Android 7.1.1 but it is possible that an Android Oreo update is going to be on the cards in a few short months.

Since the model name of the Galaxy A5 is denoted by ‘2018’ the phone is going to be announced next year, possibly during January.

Will you upgrade to the Galaxy A5 2018 model thanks to its Infinity Display upgrade taken from the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8?
