Sol# 1: Fix Galaxy S8 Wifi Issues: Forget WiFi Network – Add Again

  1. Go to settings on your Galaxy S8.
  2. In settings, tap WiFi.
  3. In the WiFi menu, a list of your WiFi networks will appear.
  4. Long tap the WiFi network that you are currently connected to and then tap > Forget network.
  5. After forgetting the network, connect to the same network once again.
  6. Try using WiFi now.

  1. Go to settings on your phone.
  2. In settings, go to About device.
  3. Now, in the About device menu, tap Reset at the bottom.
  4. In Reset, tap Reset Network Settings > Reset the settings.
  5. Connect to the WiFi now. It should be fine

Sol# 3: Fix Galaxy S8 Wifi Issues: Restart the Router

It is not going to be an issue with your phone every time. Sometimes, the source router messes up the connectivity. To resolve this, you can restart the router either by switching off the electrical switch or by pressing the small button on the router.

Routers support a limited number of devices connected at a time. Some routers support 5 devices at a time, some routers support 10 devices. Enterprise routers support a huge number of devices. For example, your router supports 5 devices, and there are 5 devices already connected, it won’t allow you to connect as a 6th device. One of the 5 devices must disconnect and only then you can connect to the internet using the 6th device.

Sometimes, a buggy software can cause WiFi interruption. To check for updates, go to settings > software update > download updates manually. If a new update is available, download it and install it on your phone.
