Huawei will be unveiling new smartphones at the MWC 2017 next month. They have their event scheduled for 26th February, one day before the MWC officially kicks off. The company will most probably be announcing two flagships, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, successor to the popular Huawei P9. Newly leaked press renders of P10 also give more credence to the information that it will be the one of the devices at the MWC
The renders of the Huawei P10 hint at a slight curved display with a home button. As there is no scanner at the back, we can assume that the fingerprint scanner has now been embedded in the home button. This is unusual, as other companies are ditching the home button altogether. A the rear of the device, we can see a dual camera setup. The P10 looks very similar to P9, only the scanner at the rear is missing from P10.
Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will sport a 5.5-inch display, with the later one having a Quad HD panel. Under the hood it will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset along with a4/6GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It will have the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS on board. In addition, a 12 MP dual camera setup by Lecia optics will adorn the device.
Huawei has been making strides in making its mark in the international markets and steadily improving their brands visibility. This time around with Huawei P10 and P10 plus they want to make a point that their devices are in league with other big names of the industry.
