Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners must have heard of the tool called Odin. The Odin flashtool makes it super-easy to install stock firmware files, recoveries, bootloader, modem files on the phone. Odin has been getting improved consistently over the course of the past few years. Odin supports almost all the Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Every now and then, a new version of Odin rolls out in order to support the latest Galaxy smartphones.

When Odin 3.12.3 came out, it supported Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The phones had issues on previous versions of Odin. After Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung has rolled out a number of devices and some of those devices had issues on Odin 3.12.3 as well. This raised a need for another version of Odin. Odin 3.12.4 with more bugs fixed and better performance has been released. On the other hand, Samsung has also released the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Keeping in view the new phones, another version, the v 3.12.5 has made its way out as well.
Both the new versions of Odin are much more stable as compared to the previous versions. You can use the Odin 3.12.4 or the Odin 3.12.5 to root your 2017 edition Galaxy smartphones. These Odin versions will ensure that the flashing process goes smooth and you successfully get your task done.
There is no change in the UI of Odin. You will find the usual AP tab, which refers to the PDA tab to load the .md5.tar or the .tar files. The BL mode means Bootloader, the CP modem, and the CSC is country/carrier specific code. Using Odin is more than simple. You just need to grab your required file, put it in the Odin, boot your phone into download mode, connect it to your computer and hit the start button in Odin.
To upgrade your latest Samsung Galaxy smartphone, you can download latest Odin 3.12.4/Odin 3.12.5 from here now.
