Galaxy A8 and the Galaxy A8+ are the new phones all set to come out in a few days. Both these phones have been making the rounds of rumor mills for quite a while. About a month ago, there were rumors about the Galaxy A5 2018. Later on, it turned out that the Galaxy A5 2018 is going be the Galaxy A8 2018. These phones are getting a lot of attention because of the changes they are going to flaunt. Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will pull out a major design overhaul in the Galaxy A series. Both the phones will follow the same design language as that of the Galaxy S8 except for the fact that there are no edges around the screen. Galaxy A8 and A8+ will have infinity displays with no home-button and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. 

The Galaxy A8 will have a 5.5-inch while the A8+ will have a 6.0-inch Full HD display. Both these phones will be powered by Exynos 7885 CPU. Galaxy A8 is supposed to have a 4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB storage variant while the A8+ is supposed to have a 4GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB options. On the front, these phones will have dual-selfie shooters with one shooter of 16MP and one of 8MP. At the back, there is a single shooter of 16MP having a fingerprint scanner beneath. Despite having Android 8.1 Oreo available, Samsung is not planning to launch these phones on Oreo. Both the phones will most probably run on Android 7.1 Nougat and receive the updates later on. As far as the battery juice is concerned, the A8 and A8+ are a powerhouse.
