The numerical IP address is the real path to locate and identify your computer services.

Naturally, your ISP has a slower speed than the Google DNS. This is solely because of the reason of making money. As you know, each time you are connected to the internet, you are assigned a different IP address. This can affect the speed of your internet connection.

Google provides its public DNS servers all over the world and they analyze the network to send you to the data center that is geographically closest to your location. Google’s DNS servers work better than your current internet service provider and are great at re-routing you to the best possible and nearest data center. This, in turn, increases your internet’s speed.

Change Your Default DNS to Google DNS for Fast Internet Speeds:

Here is how you can change your default DNS to Google DNS. Follow the steps below;

First of all, go to your computer’s Control Panel> Network and Sharing.
On the left sidebar, you will see the option ‘Change Adapter Settings’. Click on it.
Here, you will see all the connections available for your PC. Click on the network whose DNS you wish to change.
Right-click on the network you have chosen and click on ‘Properties’ from the menu.
In the properties, click on the tab that is named ‘Networking’.
Under this tab, you will see ‘This network uses the following items’. In this list of items, find and select ‘Internet Service Provider Version 4(TCP/IPV4)’.
Now, click on ‘Properties’ right under the list.
In properties, you will see ‘Use the following DNS server addresses’.
Here, delete the previously written IP address and replace it with 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
Once you have done that, click on Ok.
Next, restart your computer to assign the new Google DNS.
