Good news for Jailbreak lovers, Electra Team is not coming slow and they have released the Chimera iOS 12.2 jailbreak update. In this latest update for theirs, they have integrated Sock Puppet support. Moreover, this updated version is a complete package. With Chimera v1.2.2 comes the integration support of Ned Williamson’s tfp0 exploit and now you can Jailbreak iOS 12.2.
After their initial release, they pushed out two new versions. First, they said it was for testing, so they can be sure that this new update is working perfectly and it’s stable. At that time, they didn’t know, the newly released update doesn’t offer support for A7-A8 and A12(X) devices. That is not fun, it seems they were unaware of the fact that Sock Puppet exploit doesn’t work well with such type of devices.
That’s the reason behind disabling the support for A7-A8 and A12(X) devices. They need to make sure that they can work with Ned Williamson’s exploit so that they can provide a stable Jailbreak. You can read the following tweets for Electra Team.
