This guide is for both iPhone and iPad, but only for iDevices with sim technology. iPhone Carrier Settings don’t get updates frequently like apps, most of the time settings are updated automatically but sometime they won’t.

How To Check And Install iPhone Carrier Settings Update in iOS 8.x:

Step#1: Open Settings form you iPhone home screen.

Step#2: Tap on General from the list.

Step#3: Tap on About from General menu.

Step#4: Now you have to wait for few seconds, if there is an update you’ll see the following message.

“Carrier Settings Update – New settings are available. Would you like to update them now?”

Step#5: Now its upto you weather you want to proceed or not. If yes just tap on Update.
