The official announcement of Galaxy S8 is just around the corner. In the past couple of weeks we have seen it all, renders, live leaked images and even videos leaving nothing to imagination. Today a new image shows Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7 side by side.
Only the rear of the device is visible, showing the placement of the elements at the back along with highlighting the size of the devices. iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch display and the Galaxy S8 will sport a 5.8-inch display. As Samsung has followed the 18:9 aspect ratio which makes the device compact with increasing display size. Galaxy S8 is marginally taller than the iPhone 7 despite its display size. So, users concerned about the 5.8-inch display shouldn’t worry over much about the dimensions of the device.
At the front of the device there will be no home button which has given way to an increased screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone has minimal bezels. As there is no home button, the finger print scanner has been moved to the rear as seen in the image.
Samsung will be announcing Galaxy S8 on 29th March with pre-orders kicking in April. Are you planning to get Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ next month?
