Bixby may get its own dedicated button in Samsung Galaxy S8

It is raining renders these days, case makers have gotten quite active in the last few days and have been popping out cases and renders of what they believe Galaxy S8 may look like. The latest render is by MobileFun adding to the speculation of what Galaxy S8 may look like. Case makers get information from the companies so that they can start working on the accessories for the device. So, that by the time the device arrives in the market, the cases are ready.

The latest renders show some familiar features that we have seen before. One small detail is quite interesting. There is a button on the right side. The three buttons on the left side of the device are for power/standby and two volume buttons. SamMobile has hinted that this could be a button dedicated to Bixby, Samsung’s digital virtual assistant.

Samsung is working towards integrating the digital assistant with all of its native apps and along with that it will also be capable of visual search and text recognition. The camera app will have its own Bixby button through which it can power it up. Now the fourth button in the render can be for firing up Bixby whenever it is required. At the moment Samsung is working towards adding functions and features that they believe can be beneficial to the consumers. This is just a render, there is no guarantee whether this end up in the finalized design or not. Looking at the pattern of how different Galaxy S8 renders are popping up, we may be looking at some more really soon.
