How To Backup Data on Samsung Galaxy S5 [ Wi-Fi passwords, and other phone settings ]:
Goto your home screen by pressing the home button.
Now Goto settings.
From the setting choose Accounts.
Now in accounts tab choose the backup option.
Tap on ” Backup and reset “.
When you choose backup and reset do check the option ” Backup my data” and “Automatically store”.
Done it will take time.
How To Backup calendar, contacts, internet data and memo:
Goto your home screen by pressing the home button.
Now Goto settings.
From the setting choose Accounts.
Now in accounts tab choose the backup option and tap on Cloud.
Tap on backup to start the process, this process will use Wifi.
Once the process is completed you have successfully backuped your ” Memo/ S Memo, S Planner / Calendar, Internet app, Contacts and Scrapbook data “.
How To Backup contacts through the Contacts application:
From your home screen tap on application drawer icon.
You’ll be in main menu of your phone tap on contacts.
Now in contacts tap on menu button located on your phone left side.
Choose Import/Export for the list.
A pop-up comes up, you’ll have to choose from the following options.
Export to USB storage
Export to SD card
Export to SIM card
After choosing one option a prompt will ask you to confirm the action. Tap Yes.
Now wait for exporting process finish.
Done.
