Android 6.0.1 Released: Includes New Emoji, Security Patches

Google has released a new version of Android, which bears the 6.0.1 version number. As the numbering suggests, we should not expect major changes. The new version has been included in the December security update, and also has really been minimal facelift. Or there is something after all, more than 200 new emoji arrived!

There is no OTA update rolled out yet, but soon the owner of latest Google Nexus flagships will get the taste of Android 6.0.1, and if you cannot wait for OTA update. We’ll add the method soon how to flash Android 6.0.1 factory images on Nexus 6P, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5.
