Samsung will be announcing Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on March 29th with dedicated events taking place in New York and London. As the official announcement date comes near, the rumors and leaks are gaining momentum. We have seen different renders, front and back panels along with the live images of the device leak. The colors in which the device will come in are still not confirmed. Today the Samsung India website and the a Brazilian retailer Submarino, have asked users the same question: Which color would they prefer for Galaxy S8? Black, Silver and Amethyst. Well this could be a coincidence but that may be taking things a bit far.
Last month a listing at a Ukrainian website suggested that Galaxy S8 will come in Black, Gold and Orchid Gray. Then a week ago, tipster Roland Quandt, said that Galaxy S8 will come in Black, Silver and Violet color options. Just yesterday, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Galaxy S8 and S8+ will come in 7 different colors of Matte Black, Bright Black, Blue, Gold, Orchid, Pink and Silver. Moreover, the front panels of the device leaked showing that the smartphones will be available in 6 colors Black, White, Blue, Silver, Gold and Gray.
Amethyst or Violet as Roland Quandt said is not a color that Samsung usually selects for its flagships. But if tow retailers and then a tipster have talked about the same color there would be some basis for their claim. Well all this would be cleared when Samsung announces Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
