Alleged Nokia 9 Flagship with Penta-Lens Camera

A flagship device from HMD Global is due for release this year rumored to be Nokia 9. The company announced the Nokia 8 last year. Nokia 8 was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU and had the top-notch specifications of that time. Since then, a lot has changed in the smartphone industry. Triple rear cameras in smartphones are now becoming a norm. Most of the flagship phones these days are launching with a notch, and some of them even have dual cameras on the front.

Back in March, HMD Global promised its users that it is going to bring a phone with Snapdragon 845 CPU and powerful cameras. What has leaked today seems to be really promising, and if it’s true, the next Nokia flagship could really take the smartphone industry by storm.

Nokia 9 – Five rear cameras on the way!

A picture leaked on a Chinese forum shows the alleged Nokia 9 flagship. The phone can be seen from the rear and that is exactly what’s special about this phone. The Nokia 9 boasts 5 cameras at the back. A start like formation at the back houses 5 cameras, an IR apparatus and the LED flash.

The irregular camera formation at the back has ZEISS branding, which of course is Nokia’s camera maker. The stickers pasted below the camera module show the branding information of the phone.

The person who leaked the picture, calls this the Nokia 9. There have been speculations in the past about this device being the Nokia 10. So, the name is something that you should not believe in until HMD Global announces this phone officially.

If this is the phone that Nokia hinted towards back in March, it could also boast of an under-display fingerprint scanner. In case of any of the rumors turn into reality, the Nokia 9 will be the world’s first smartphone to have this kind of camera system. If the phone sports dual cameras on the front, it would be more than interesting to see how a phone with 7 cameras is welcomed by the users.

That’s it for now. Let us know what do you think about the upcoming Nokia flagship? To know more about this phone, stay connected with us.
