As we have recently heard the news that Instagram will partner up with the biggest GIF community GIPHY. The latest update of Instagram comes with GIF support. If you haven’t updated the Instagram app you should do it now in order to enjoy the GIF stickers. Moreover, you can search the desired GIF using the search bar provided in GIF menu.

You can add art, moving sparkles, hats, sunglasses, funny meme and more using GIF stickers. You can find GIF feature in the stickers tab. We’ve created this Tutorial to show you how you can Add GIF to Instagram Stories and Photos. let get started.

How to Add GIF to Instagram Stories and Photos:

Heed the instructions below in order to Add GIF Stickers to Instagram. If you cannot get the idea using our text guide, no need to worry. We have created a Video tutorial, it will get things going for you.

Add GIF to Instagram Stories:

  • Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone. Swipe to the right to access the camera options. Take a Photo or make a video.
  • Tap on the Sticker option ( smiley face icon ) located on the top right side of the screen. Tap on GIF Icon.
  • A new page with all the trending GIF stickers will show up. In order to insert a GIF, Tap on it and it will be added to your story. Moreover, simply tap on the icon in order to resize it or flip it.
  • If you don’t like the trending GIF stickers, you can search for more specific GIFs from GIPHY store.
