Huawei nowadays is preparing to launch its Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro smartphones. The phones will come out at an exclusive event which will take place in London on October 16, 2018. The smallest variant of the Mate 20 series, the Mate 20 Lite was revealed at IFA. A handful of information has already made its way to the internet regarding the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Huawei Mate 20

According to the user agent profiles posted by a Chinese company, the Mate 20 will have a resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels. The Mate 20 will sport a display having an aspect ratio of 18:9. This looks like to be a display similar to the P20 Pro’s. The Mate 20 is expected to have a notch on the top. Mate 20’s model number according to the leaked information is HMA-L29. This phone will likely have a display of 6.3-inches.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro

The Mate 20 Pro will have a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The aspect ratio of Mate 20 Pro will be 19:9. The Mate 20 Pro is also expected to sport a waterdrop notch just like the one we saw on the Essential Phone, Oppo R17, and the Vivo V11. The Mate 20 Pro will have a huge display of 6.9-inch. Its purported model number is LYA-L29.

The Mate 20 and Mate Pro will also make use of Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 SoC. These phones are expected to house a triple-rear camera system. Huawei will use the USB Type-C to make these phones capable of charging and connecting to the computer. A headphone jack is expected. Since these phones are going to have a glass build all around, the wireless charging is also expected. Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box themed by EMUI 9.
