The Oppo R17 has been creating a buzz in the news sphere for quite a few days now. The Oppo R17, which was recently listed on TENAA, has left everyone curious about the unlocking method. Alleged pictures of the Oppo R17 leaked today show that the phone has a vertical dual-rear camera setup and it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The images listed on TENAA show the device to have a horizontal rear camera. The TENAA pictures didn’t show the fingerprint scanner anywhere on the phone. However, the word was that this phone will have facial recognition just like the Oppo Find X. The listed phone carries model numbers PBCM00 and PBCT00. A display of 6.3-inch and 3,415 mAh battery was also reported for this phone.

A couple of days ago, Oppo teased its upcoming F9 on its twitter handle. The Oppo F9 has a dual-rear camera which is mounted horizontally as well. It is quite possible that TENAA’s listing and the F9 are the same phones. It is also possible that the Oppo R17 is going to have a vertical camera setup for real just like the OnePlus 6.
